I have been doing some housekeeping lately and I've noticed that I had a lot of orphaned attachments. Auto-run on Darthmod 8.1 is a little bit touchy, by all means try auto start if it works for you. If you are running Darthmod 8.1 turn off auto game start, select the options you want click start and then launch Empire normally.
